The organization reached its annual safety goals in September, marking a major step forward in building a safer and stronger workplace. Across all divisions, teams worked together to reduce incidents and keep each other safe, and the results reflect that commitment.
The company achieved a 20 percent improvement in Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR). TRIR measures how often work-related injuries occur, and lower numbers show a safer work environment. The rolling TRIR now stands at 2.12, which is lower than last year and ahead of the 2025 target.
There was a reduction of more than 30 percent in At-Fault Motor Vehicle Accidents (AFMVA). This metric tracks vehicle incidents where a company driver is determined to be at fault. The collision rate dropped to 1.33 per million miles, the lowest level recorded to date.
These improvements are the result of steady, consistent actions taken across the field and in every support function. Planning the work, speaking up when hazards appear, and looking out for one another have all contributed to fewer injuries and fewer vehicle incidents.
This progress also strengthens the company’s ability to win and retain business. Customers look closely at safety performance when selecting partners. Strong results in TRIR and the company’s Experience Modification Rate (EMR), which reflects workers compensation history, show that the organization operates with discipline, reliability, and care for its people.
The company’s core value remains the foundation of this progress: We work safely, no exceptions, no excuses.
Reaching these goals is an important milestone. However, the most meaningful accomplishment is ensuring that team members return home safely at the end of every day. Nothing is more important than that, and this achievement shows what is possible when every person plays a role in Safety.
