Project Mercury Update: Our Path Forward with Vision

Written by United Uptime | Mar 27, 2026 7:53:06 PM

We want to give you a straightforward update on Project Mercury.

After running the SAP pilot in Oklahoma and Arizona, leadership made the call to stop the SAP implementation. The pilot did exactly what it was supposed to do: it gave us honest, real-world insight into how the system would perform across our business. Based on what we learned, the long-term costs simply did not justify the benefits.

A big thank you to the teams in Oklahoma and Arizona who put in the time and effort testing the system. Your work made it possible for leadership to make a clear, informed decision for the future of United Uptime Services.

Focused on Vision

So where does that leave us? Right where we need to be: focused on Vision.

Most of our business already runs on Vision, including our processes, reporting, and performance metrics. The system is familiar across the organization and backed by strong internal expertise. It is the right foundation to build on.

What Happens Next

SAP branches will begin transitioning to Vision immediately with a target go-live of April 6.

  • Data migration has already started
  • Cross-training begins the week of March 9
  • Inventory counts are scheduled for the end of March
  • Kubat and Double Check timelines remain under review with a Q3 target

No Surprises, Just Clear Communication

Day-to-day operations stay the same for now. If your team is part of the transition, you will hear directly from the ERP team with specifics. No surprises, just clear communication as we move forward together.
